Yes it's about 5 hours to get the Hawaii. It's a shorter flight back to San Francisco from Hawaii. 5 hours is nothing. If you were to fly to Australia, you'd fly past Hawaii for another 8+ hours.

I stay in San Francisco, and we raised our childrens in San Francisco, even although that in touch paying inner most college instructions. As others have talked about, the fee of housing and suitable products is way larger in SF than in Eureka. notwithstanding, there are a decision of rationalization why human beings are prepared to pay a lot to stay in San Francisco and the encircling section. There are in simple terms some places that experience SF for theater, dance, museums, stay song, procuring and nice eating. We actually have many college and specialist activities communities if you're a activities fan. yet another plus: no WalMart. in my opinion, i stumble on the North Coast (Eureka) climate to be depressing. this is no longer in simple terms the rainfall, notwithstanding it is also the months of gray days without sunshine in any respect. The organic surroundings is alluring, yet you do not ought to flow very a ways from SF to locate both dazzling surroundings, which include Muir Woods and the point Reyes section. One a threat option is to stay close to San Francisco, commuting into the city on BART. My son, his spouse, and their son lately moved to Berkeley, the position housing expenditures are seriously below in San Francisco. It takes about forty minutes from their homestead to downtown SF. the elements in Berkeley is extra constructive than that of SF, too.

2400 miles / 500 mph = 4.8 hrs (4h 48m), so round that up to about 5 h even from pushback to exit.
