No it's not to old. You'd get your MD at 27. You're only a year behind. Besides, your residency can be hella long anyway. Age doesn't matter. Smarts are important, but the most important thing is dedication and determination. MAKE it happen, don't think about it happening.

No it's not too old, not at all! I actually know a guy in med school right now and he oddly enough doesn't know what kind of doctor he wants to be (and he's at least mid 20's). As for IQ, you better check admissions at a few medical schools then you'd know what your scores need to be.

It is never too late to want to further your education. You don't have to have a super high IQ to be a doctor. It takes tons of dedication and memorizing though. Good luck!

IQ does nto matter, as long as you can handle the work and understand it.
and no 19 is not too young. just look at dougie houser...
plus, if you start now, youll only be 27 when you get your PHD

No that is not too young! Doctors are not geniuses they are extremely deligent, dedicated and disciplined people.As long as you are able to commit to this career choice,you are good to go.I think it's excellent for you to consider this career option at such a young age, you will help many people-good luck!
