Is there any oil which is similar to sewing machine oil?

I have a shaving kit that needs lubrication with sewing machine oil. But i don't have sewing machine oil. So i'm looking something similar.

Something similar is clock oil, but I doubt that you have that either.

It's simple enough to find sewing machine oil. Try a shop which sells sewing machines.

Starrett Instrument Oil, available from MSC-Direct or other industrial supplier.

It's still probably easier to find instrument oil
