I had my baby through vacuum extraction. Was my first baby and the labour lasts 12 hours. I was on epidural, dilated 10cm but dr cut another 2cm. Lost too much blood during delivery (told by my dr.) Visited my dr just 2 days ago to do my pap smear, the next day after seeing him, started this heavy period. Was reasonably alright in the beginning, it's only just now that the bleeding was rather scary to me. Right now the bleeding was not that much, but when i 'squeeze' my tummy (like when you push your baby out), there is sure to be blood coming out. Is this normal?

I'm a single-mum and is 3.30am now. I have to get someone to help me look after my baby. I want to know, just now for sure i used more than 1 pad in less than an hour (maybe 2-3pads) right now still within that hour and have not changed pad yet. The bleeding now is alright (normal flow). Can I wait another hour? Or do I really have to go hospital now?

Had my baby six weeks ago. Dr. told me I lost too much blood then, didn't know what happened but was only told excessive bleeding. They kept me under observation and I was alright after a day then. Right now, bleeding again so was worried.

Anytime you use more than one pad or tampon in an hour, have clots larger than a quarter or spontaneous bleeding via pressure like you describe you need to call your doc. I wouldn't think it too strange to get a bit of spotting after having a pap, but what you are describing is scary. I would fear infection or severe loss of blood.

Call now, if they can't get you in tell them you are heading to the ER and would appreciate him meeting you there after hours for an exam. Don't let this one go, not with your history. Trust yourself, you know your body better than anyone!

Its not serious, you should have stopped for an afternoon and then resumed back. i'll know how having that style of genetic ailment on your household ought to worry you! verify out their a lengthy time period even as this got here about on your aunts/mom/grandmother. It replaced into likely afterward of their lives that this began to floor. shop up with each of the usual visits to the well being care service! actually have him/her do shop on with united statestwo times a year or maybe extra. in case you devour proper and workout and take good care of your self you could in no way strengthen any of the themes your household individuals have. The unprotected sex that you had, nicely you've been taking a probability weren't you? Its very in all probability that the launch has some thing to do with that, not cervical maximum cancers. There should be extremely of substitute on your uterus after having sex, that ought to describe the achieveable tiny clots and darker blood.

Go see a doctor! Could be a hemmorage! Sometimes the cervix doesn't close up all the way afterwards and any blood left in the uterus can start coming out. It's always better to see a doctor just in case. Especially if there's a lot of blood involved. If you know that it doesn't feel normal, call your doctor immediately and ask for his/her opinion.

It's better to ask and have it be normal than not ask and have it be dangerous! Better safe than sorry!

GOOD LUCK! I hope all's well! And congratulations on the new baby!!!!

You usually do bleed for at least 6 weeks after you have your baby. But you are not suppose to bleed so heavily. Just go to the doctor and make sure that your are not hemorrhaging.

After you have your baby you will bleed for almost 6 weeks. It sounds normal to me. Ask you doctor if you are still unsure.
