I can see she can get on your last nerve, but don't envy the deaf. They would welcome your problem. There is always a solution for a problem. It seems you can't get a word in edgewise, so I would suggest that you write her a letter explaining how you feel. A letter would assure no interruptions from your mother. Tell her you love her but she doesn't give you a chance to talk. You would love to have a conversation with her, but she doesn't let give you the chance to speak. You don't mind listening to her if she would just stop and listen to you.
Sometimes people talk fast, talk non stop because they will forget what they are going to say unless they do. They try to get everything they have on their mind out. Or it could just be a nervous habit. Whatever the reason, she needs to know that it bothers you and you would like to be able to have a 2-way conversation.

Just because you have a mother that is talkative doesn't mean that it easier being deaf. My friend lost her hearing and her life became much harder. She couldn't do the things she loved most, play or listen to music. She was a very talented musician. I learned sign language for her and now she is starting to pick up the guitar again But be thankful for you ability to hear, it will a lot difficult without it.

Wives do the same thing and its hard to deal with them constantly cutting you off while in mid sentence. You just have to put up with it or actually hurt their feelings.

when your mother ISN'T talking like when she is doing something ask her if YOU can TALK to HER, not vica versa and then tell her how you feel about her talking nonstop and how you don't like it when she cuts you off in mid-sentence, and have some consideration people when they are talking and not to interrupt them

People can't see themselves ask her to sit down and listen to you for five minutes and time it-every time she speaks start the 5mins again-she might see more clearly then,it worked on me when my daughter did it-i never realised how much i did it or that i was answering her before she had even finished soeaking-i bet she don't know that she even does it.ktf.x

Record her. For half a day or something.
Don't let her know you are recording her.
The sit her down, explain to her the problem, and how it is bothering you, and then play back the recording.
She probably has no idea what she sounds like.
Good luck!

I think its just something you need to deal with. Mom's get wierd when you insult them in someway, even if you don't mean to.
If that doesn't work for you, try interupting her in mid-sentence once in a while.

The old is naggy because the young is stubborn, and so the young remains stubborn because of the ever nagging old. Try changing yourself first?
