Why don't you ask a Soldier?

They feel proud to be serving their country....it's an honor to do what they do. Sure, most of them want to come home, but they still support their president. There's far too much propaganda involved in this and Americans aren't getting enough of the truth. The troops serving over there can see what they've accomplished and know that the Iraqi people appreciate it. The troops know that no oil is leaving that country and that it's not being fought over for oil or anything like that. That's what the news doesn't tell us.

I have talked to guys that loved being over there, and I have talked to ones that hated it. The one person that I know has been there several times and has missed two of his child's births. He loves his family very much, and hates going back over. The only thing that makes him go though is the fact that he doesn't want to see any more young boys going over and getting killed. I hope that we can leave the war soon, and that the world can become peaceful at last. We need it; the world needs it.

I think they feel very proud of their service, and they are proud that they are helping Iraqi citizens. They thinking those abled bodied men back home who are too scared to join the military are a bunch of sissies.

Why don't you ask every military man and woman that you see how they feel? I am sure that 95+% feel proud. Remember that this is an all VOLUNTEER military.

I don't know how they handle it. It has to be bad when you see someone wanting to kill you and if you kill them you might go to prison. It will get a lot worse with our leadership taking the other side.
