Well you could apply at one of the Video Game Companies that develop the games you like for starters. Of course, being a video game tester isn't as glamorous a job as you might think.
Expect low pay (because of there being so much competition to get these jobs). Also, you need to realize that as a video game tester you often play the same game every day for months and months to the point of utter boredom. You usually don't get to pick the game you test but are rather handed a game to test (so just hope you're lucky and it is one you'll enjoy playing for ages).
Still want this kind of work? Well, don't think you can just waltz in with no experience or connections. Either you need to know someone in the industry that can get the good word in for you or you will need to get some experience in testing. Be it testing software or participating in beta tests for games. So once you have this, then submit your resume and you might stand a chance.
Other experience that is helpful: Programming, scripting languages, automation testing experience, and whatever else the game company lists on their website under their employment opportunities section.

As stupid as it sounds, this is a real job, and a good paying job. The only ones or the best ones, are people who test new computer programs and games.. looking for flaws, glitches and other errors. Check with any computer company.. HP, Compaq, Dell.. I use to know someone one who got a kid a job testing video games on a computer.. and it was through Compaq. Call around and ask about Software testing.. maybe someones looking for some help.

Their is a company in Las Vegas called Clientlogic Inc. they do cutomer service for Playstaion and if you get that gig you will play games for 4 hours a day and talk about games the other 4 hour and they have an entire libary with every Playstation game ever made its one of the best places i have ever worked at but the pay isnt that great.

Yes, you can. You can try to be a professional gamer. Winning tournaments that give you money prizes. The tournaments could be local or international (like WEG, CEG, and alike). You also could work with a games magazines and play games and then write reviews for them (you have type and edit lots of words, but hey, it's life) If you can manage to work with a games company, you could be a game tester or QA (Quality Assurance). Btw, if you recognized as a good professional gamer, I think many games companies will look for you to be their game tester.
