Im a 6foot 2 bloke age 23 with a beer belly, i have only done minimal sports in the last 6 months but am of good health generally (except i smoke). I have to run this distance, timed for a fitness test. Any idea how long it should take me?? Thanks in advance for your help.

Under 9 minutes. A good goal, if you ran often, would be 6 minutes.

Ha! You sound out of shape. As you are, it will probably take you 15-20 minutes. I think the average time for someone your age should be around 8 minutes.

About 8-10 minutes. Quit smoking too. I hate people who smoke.

In Your state you should be able to walk it in less than 15 minutes
so to run it you shouldnt be taking more than 8 minutes

I would say anywhere around 7-10 minutes...hopefully not more than 9 though.

try doing it before the race and see how long it takes you+quit smoking!!!
