What do you think illegal immigrants would do?

If the U.S. was invaded by ground troops from another country, do you think that illegal immigrants would fight for the U.S. or flee to another country?

All the illegals I know either stood in the hot sun all day in SoCal to get a gardening job , or joined the military for citizenship. So I think the Mexicans would definetly fight. Not any others though.

I have a dual citizenship and so I am a citizen of Canada and the United States. If anyone invaded the U.S. I would flee to Canada and I think most illegals would too. I'm sure some would fight for it.

In WWII Hitler contacted Mexico and made them an offer - that if they sided with him, they could get all the lower states it wanted from the USA after we were defeated - with the exception of California which he wanted to save for Japan. After studying it for about seven months, Mexico declined Hitler's offer.

Even with a tratior in office they couldn't succeed then, and they won't now. Bush is underestimating alright - underestimating his own constituents for the political gains of another country!

I know that as this issue gets hotter
it will turn VERY violent.

I predict massive riots, looting, and killing within 2-3 years
as we try to deport and otherwise enforce the laws

not to mention new ones that will be passed in the next 2 years.
So lock and load,

because what today are knife assaults
tomorrow will turn into gun attacks on the populace
as a desperate 20-30 million illegal aliens
are slowly ushered out of this country on posh jets
by our mealy mouthed, weak, politically correct administration.
You will have to keep your kids inside your house
for fear of having them shot or abducted by aliens for ransom.
You will have pot shots being taken
at the morning rush hour traffic,
(especially at fancy BMWs Mercedes Lexus’s etc)
from the bushes by disgrunteled
unemployed ILLEGAL Alien workers.
You will have 10x increased robberies
of convenience stores and other small businesses.
You will have marauding gangs and carjackers
roaming the streets at night
to assault and rob pedestrians
Just wait,
a full blown civil war awaits us
if we manage to “deprive” these people
of day work, nanny work, hotel work, and agricultural labor jobs.
Talk about Al Quaeda,
we will have 20-30 million potential terrorists
right here in our cities,
ALL with fake ID and a network of friends and relatives
to help them.
It will make the Sunni Triangle
look like Central Park, or Balboa Park, on a Sunday afternoon.
It’s coming.
Remember the LA riots??
Well this is 1000 times that.
These ILLEGAL Aliens
are getting angrier and more violent by the week,
and Mr. Bush knows it.
He has been advised by Homeland Security
what I just said above.
That’s why he’s such a worm about all this.
He just doesn’t want it all to happen on his watch.
The next president
will have to completely capitulate to the illegals demands,
or face the above consequences.

They already are jackasses. There are plenty of illegal immigrants on the frontline of the Iraqui war. There were plenty of illegal immigrants who fought in both world wars, the vietnam war, and pretty soo, probably the war against Korea (you know Bush is gonna do it).

Your government incites these innocent people to fight in the wars in return for legalization, but the first thing they discover is that they are placed on the frontline and most dangerous situations. Your government figures, the quicker they die, the less we have to worry about.

That would depend on the invading country. If they offered them free schools , free medical, and free police and fire services, they would not only not flee, but stay and sell them oranges.

I think MOST of them would drink beer and loot inner city stores.
While some of them would continue to busy themselves with their jobs, keeping their heads down and working hard in kitchens, hotels and construction sites across the country.
