It depends where she's doing her BCT at. My hubby is a Drill Sergeant and the Commander often sends out e-mails to family members of the weeks activities. Our post website also has some on display. And yes, cameras are not allowed, so she shouldn't be taking any. All our pics come from the Commander, 1SG, Drill Sergeants or the professional photographer that follows them around putting the book together for graduation.

There shouldn't be any way. Recruits are not allowed to have cameras in BCT - although, when I went through back in the early 90s, a few people were able to obtain some disposable cameras and mail them home.

I wouldn't encourage her to do this - she might get in trouble if she is caught with contraband. I'd tell her to get the addresses of some of the people who do have them, write them after BCT and offer to pay to have duplicates made. That way, she can get the pictures without running the risk of extra PT for a week or so. :-)
