No that is totally natural they are very clean animals, they bathe themselves everyday.

Is there some reason you think it's bad? Cats do have a habit of grooming often.
I hope you are giving the cat some undivided attention each day. It's possible the cat may be bored or disturbed in some way. I'm jealous that you have a cat; I haven't had one for years. Good luck!

No, my cat is always grooming himself. He's actually kind of OCD about it. And I find that white cats seem to groom themselves more than other colored cats for some reason.

Unless kitty is grooming so much that he's licking his fur clean off, it's normal. Cats spend more of their time grooming than anything else they do except sleeping. (Unless they're still kittens, then they might spend more time playing than grooming.)

No, he probably jsut want's to stay clean. Mine does that too. When shes not outside in the woods in Summer Fall and Spring shes inside cleaning herself or sleeping. Thats really all she does in winter. Eats cleans sleeps, sleeps, sleeps, eats cleans, sleeps sleeps sleeps, eats sleeps. And the next day she does it all over again! ( shes old so she does'nt like all the attention unless she is sick ) she will hiss and scratch if you try to rub anywhere but her head and back! So it is perfectly fine for your cat to groom itself a lot!

it's an instinct for cats to groom themselves.
but it could also mean that the cat has fleas.
you could consult a vet to see if there's anything wrong.

Perfectly normal. It would not be normal if he did not groom himself often.

Your lucky youve got a clean cat. Just one bit of advice, every now and then put a little just a little vasaline on one of its paws. It will make sure it dosent start hacking up hair balls as it gets older.
