Hi everyone, I went through clinical depression due to delivering a still born baby. I am learning to deal with my feelings and on some level i am beginning to feel at peace. but.. I have had nausea and loss of appetite as a symptom of my depression and my appetite is comeing back and instead of nausea everyday I can finally go a week or so without any at all but It still bothers me that it is there. If i go a week without it I usually go the next week with it. this has been going on for a year now. My dietician said this is normal due to malnourishment but no one understands why I still have it with my eating back on track and everything. Has this happened to anyone before? if so how did you get rid of it? or do you no what it could be?

Yes it was developed into an eating disorder. I am currently seeing a psychologist who referred me to the dietican because of the eating disorder. I am not on meds. we are doing it without them and it is working amazing.

Could the nausea be due to your weight gain during your pregnancy. i.e. basically you think you still weigh to much, not giving yourself enough time to loose the "baby" weight after your pregnancy? Depression can cause many strange things to happen to our bodies. If you cannot eat, at least get some Carnation Instant Breakfast Packets, add them to milk and drink them. Instead of a dietician, consult your doctor or local mental health consultant. By all means, do this soon!!

You've answered your own question: The anxiety is causing your nausea and stomach cramps. You have to reduce the anxiety before the nausea and stomach cramps will go away. Once you become more confident in the situations causing the anxiety, the nausea and stomach cramps will reduce. You can't treat the nausea and stomach cramps on their own.

I agree with the two other answers. I have depression and get nauseous from time to time from the anxiety I get with the depression. Also meds make me nauseous. When you feel nauseous get some crackers. I always carry some with me.
Hopefully you can get on with your life and be okay again.

If you're taking medication for your depression, it may be due to that. I've had some strange reactions to meds.
