A dog not only can sweat on the nose but it can also sweat through its mouth. So next time you see a dog with his tough hanging out you will know that it is hott.So give it some water.

nope dogs do not sweat. The moisture on the nose is condensation from their breath. They do also produce some minute liquid on their feet. They get rid of heat through the thin hair area on their bellies and by panting across their tounge. That is why they lay in water or moist grass then lay on their back. They are very prone to heat stroke also because of this.

Dogs can only sweat through the pads on their paws, they tend to drool a bit more because they pant hard when they are hot, but that is not sweat.

Dogs will sweat through their paws when they are nervous, but they do not sweat like humans do to help disapate heat. That is why it is so important to make sure that your dog does not get over heated in the summer and has plenty of water to drink and help keep them cool.

Kinda the reason they pant is because they sweat out of their tongues, their bodies don't sweat and neither do their paws.♥

They sweat- on their tongues... thats why they slobber... But they use their paws too cool down, thats why when a dog is hot he usually standson the first step of the pool and dont usually get intirely wet

no dogs do not sweat. they pant . its the only way they have to cool down. if you watch your dog on a hot hay the longer he pants the longer and wider is tongue gets. this is why they can get heat stroke so easily.
