If you are taking a family vacation, the whole family should go
Everybody just needs to deal with each other's personalities
You dad might be a grump, but he is still your dad.
I dont know why you think you have to be cold all of the time, but go ahead and go and spend some quality time with your family

Just take warm clothes and smile! Make it a point to have fun! Go into it with a very positive attitude.
As much of a grump as he may be, he is your Daddy. And when he's gone, no one can ever take his place! Enjoy your time together!

Did you talk with you father about it? Communication is very important because is the principal argument to obtain tolerance and understanding to each other. If you dad is a old grump maybe you guess you are a little princes in a castle. Try to improve your time together and make a strong relation. All parents love their sons and daughters... I am sure you love your dad a lot.
bye.

If you already know that your dad is a big grump, why do you want to make him grumpier by complaining?
Take lots of warm clothes.
And get to the doctor...maybe you are anemic and thats why your cold all the time.

There seems to be much more here than how warm you are during a vacation.
You may need to spend some time thinking about what the situation reminds you of and how you needed to deal with it then.
Good luck. This sounds like it might need a bit of a family conference. Dad might not be saying everything he needs to say also.

Bring warm clothes. We just took vacation last week and our kids complained and were misserable the entire time, making us wish that we never went on vacation. Maybe he feels much the same way. You go on vacation to relax and get away from you life for a bit, would you want to listen to someone complain the entire time? You know that your going to be cold so prepare for it. I also get cold and I know no one wants to listen to me whine, so I bring a sweater.

I am also a cold-all-the-time person and i have learned to take care of it so i don't complain out loud to others. I ALWAYS have a sweater or jacket (even when it is 100 because of air conditioning). Even take warm clothes to beach. I always bring a warm blanket with me in the car, too, to cover up in case of air conditioning. It's not that he minds you are cold. It's that he doesn't want to hear you complaining about it. So be responsible and take care of yourself. don't forget your coat, sweater, blanket. and don't complain no matter what. it bugs your dad.

Pack a couple sweaters, some sweat pants and thick socks and go for the vacation. Why ruin this for your mom?

Which coast? Are you going to the beach or what?? Just layer your clothes accordingly, get plenty of iron and take hot baths.

Take a sweater and don't complain about being cold. Your comfort is under your control.
