I have his collar number and his number...but unsure if I should ring him and ask him out for a drink. I met him under the wrong circumstances and don't want to discredit my case or get him into any trouble. He doesn't know I like him. I am over 18. I am unsure if he is single, but noted No Ring on his finger.

He doesn't know you from Adam. Also, you said that the two of you met under the wrong circumstances. I'm also assuming that the two of you haven't had the chance to chat or anything, so no, it's not a good idea.

Do it! But I would definitely wait until you settle your case. I would feel so safe to have a cop for a boyfriend. I find cops to be very attractive esp. after 9-11. They are courageous and put their life on the line everyday. That is a real man!

I would wait for sure. If he's an ethical officer he will turn you down anyway, and if you are involved in an active case, he could be in trouble with his boss if they found out that he was going out with you. So, do him a favor and yourself, and wait till your case is completely over.

If you met him in kinda bad circumstances then i don't think u should ask him out, cos he will likely say no.
I really want to ask out a police officer, but when to ask? U don't know they are one unless they are in uniform, and when they are in uniform they are working and it's not an appropriate time.
If u see him around ask him, but don't call his station or anything, he would think that weird i'm sure!

I guess just call the station and tell someone who works with him that you think he's cute and that you would like to go for coffee with him and ask THEM if he's married and if all's clear, they will transfer you or get him on the line!

how did you get his number? Did he give it to you, if he did maybe he wants you to ask him out. If you got it some other way I'd say no.
