In Portland, OR the starting wages for a CNA is about $9-10/hr. and has a cap of about $12-13/hr. This is not enough to live on. It's a good job while you are working towards your degree, like nursing.

NOT MUCH MAYBE 10$ AN HOUR. DON'T THINK YOU CAN LIVE OFF THAT MUCH INCOME. BETTER OF GOING FOR YOUR RN.
