joseph who?....
oh i see! jesus' dad. well, i know plenty gay men who married first to keep their family happy then got divorced when they couldnt stand being with their wife any longer.
was jesus' dad gay then? well, i must say, i never found that in the bible, bless him. maybe constantine omitted that from his version of the bible.
as for joseph, he can come out for a drink with me one night if he fancies, and i hope he is outrageously camp, as i love camp men, either gay or str8, they are such fun.
love and peace, swot xxx

Not sure where you got information that Joseph was gay.
The Joseph that was the son of Jacob was married to an egyptian priests daughter and they had two sons.
The Joseph that married Mary, mother of Jesus, had children with her after the birth of Jesus. He knew her not, until the birth of Jesus.
The use of the word "know" is our common day word for "sex"
Mary asked the angel how she could be pregnant, as she knew no man. Now it is safe to say that she knew her father and her other male relatives in a sense of having been around them all her life, but she was saying that she had never had sex.
The bible uses the word "know" again for when it tells of Joseph "knew her not until the birth of Jesus"
Gay, NO, married, YES, consumated his marriage to her, YES

Um. he wasn't gay. and he did have sex with his wife. hence the mention of descendents.
perhaps you are referring to why he did not have sex with Potiphar's wife while he was a slave in Potiphar's house. The reason for that is because he knew that marriage was sacred and that the marriage bed should be kept pure. Adultery by Mosaic law was sin, and Joseph had a heart of obedience to God. He trusted God to provide him a wife when the timing was right, so he did not feel the need to steal someone else's for his own purposes.

Joseph did not have sex with his wife before marriage because he was a gentleman, but Jesus did have siblings, which came along after Joe and Mary ties the knot.

Joseph wasn't gay. He married Mary, as the Bible says the angel told him to do. Later, he and Mary had children, as the Bible states regarding Jesus' brothers and sisters.

Mary was a virgin at the birth of Jesus. She was engaged to Joseph when she was pregnant, that is why the angel visited Joseph in order to convince him to stay with Mary.
And it's illogical to think he never had relations with his wife later on after Jesus's birth.

Do you mean Joseph, the husband of Mary, the mother of Jesus? If that is who you speak of, he was not gay, and he did have sex with Mary, as Jesus had brothers and sisters. The writer of the Bible book Jude was written by one of the brothers of Jesus!

He did have sex with her AFTER Jesus was born. He waited because he wanted to let ALL know that the Baby was not his. He wanted NOBODY to be able to refute the claim that Jesus was born of a virgin. Let me tell you in those days they would have EXAMINED HER thoroughly because if they found ANY PROOF that she wasn't a virgin they would have STONED her and HIM. He waited until the proper time. Many men have the ability to wait for the right time it is called self control and is not an indication of Homosexual tendancies.

Not having sex does not mean someone was gay. They could be asexual, or just have a lot of discipline. In the bible, bodily purity is considered to be some kind of virtue.

Joseph had sex with Mary after they were married. They were betrothed anyway, when she got pregnant. And they had other children after Jesus was born.
