I use green peppers ALOT mostly for flavor, and so do many people i know. wouldn't green pepper powder or flakes be a good idea? sure fresh ones are better, but the go bad if yuo don't use them and you don't always have them on the spure of the moment.

Are you asking for Green Chili Powder? You referenced "peppers" - that could be all sorts of thing. However, since you included powder & flakes, it came to my mind that you are refering to Red Chilis -- Correct?? If so, there IS Green Chili Powder, at least here in the Southwest. I'm sure you could find an online outlet that you could order from. Bry Bueno. I will ck around and see if I can find more info for you.

have you ever tried mexican Ancho chiles? They are dried Poblano peppers... kind of sweet and spicy... I just let them soak to rehydrate them and use in recipies.

There is one. I don't recall off hand but it's either Japanese or Chinese. Check a local Asian Store for it.

my husband, in our smoker smokes all kinds of peppers and then dries them and puts them in the blender or coffee grinder...super on top of soups,stews,most anything
