The best strategy is to play your numbers in groups. For example, let's say you wanted to play a 6 spot, try (1-2-3-11-12-13). You will notice that this combo is all in a box. Another popular six spot would be 1-11-21-31-41-51.
Aside from all my time in casinos as a gambler here in Vegas, I also worked in them. I would see about 100 keno games per night, 500 per week, 2,000 per month, 24,000 per year. You get the picture.
The game is completely random, but I did notice that numbers come in chunks often. In fact, they would put up winning tickets that won in the thousands in a case. For the most part they had one thing in common, the numbers were together. Perhaps they played a 6 spot with two blocks of 3 numbers each or 4 blocks of 2 numbers each or all together.
Keno is a bad game to play, but many like it. The main reason was the relaxation. You can win big and play nice and slow.

Getting lucky. I like to pick keno numbers in one section of the board so that it is easy to keep track of them, but I don't win very often :)
