Your travel agent knows ALL the rules and tips for booking air...there are some 21 day advance tickets, some 14 day advance, some 7...some require a minimal stay, certain days to travel on for certain tickets...
these are all things that a travel agent would know...you cant goto an interent site and always get the cheapest prices...

Travel agents are the experts....

tuesday or thursday. trust me on this I saved about $200 last year on one trip, this year I am taking the same trip sunday thru thursday and the difference is $560 against $880

Compare the prices on those and then call the airlines. United now has TED which is cheaper, there's Southwest Airlines, and you can always access the airline web sites.

travel sites say the middle of the week, tue-wed-thur, and make sure that the trip spans at least one saturday

make sure, your travel has saturday included, so if u fly on Wednesday return on sunday or later

after lunchtime and late at night (3 am) then nobody is online, so fares drop (thats what they say)
