Well, if you include being half, I qualify. And no, I am not in favor of ILLEGAL immigration. What happened in the past is just that the past and not much to do about it if you want to have a "country" for our children. But why does the most abusive country when it comes to ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS (Mexico) presume to tell the United States what we can and cannot do about controlling the illegals? Why does Mexico presume to "demand" that we NOT require people to PROVE that they are legal citizens BEFORE they are allowed to vote? Mexico would not even issue an absentee ballot to their own citizens UNTIL said citizen produced a VALID VOTER REGISTRATION CARD. If they could not, they had to RETURN TO MEXICO AND PRESENT THE REQUIRED IDENTIFICATION RECORDS TO APPLY FOR A VOTER REGISTRATION CARD. THEN, they had to WAIT till the proferred documents were investigated and they were deemed "legal" to receive a voter registration card. This process, according to the Mexican consulate in San Diego, usually takes a "few" weeks. At the end of the necessary time, the applicant had to RETURN TO MEXICO (if they didn't stay there) and pick up the voter card and at that time they could apply for the absentee ballot which would be sent to them. None of this being allowed to vote first and THEN decide if it is legal. And the reasoning given by Mexico for this--to reduce "voter fraud!" What a concept! Mexico has all these laws about the same issues we have here and they are VERY STRICT but they don't want the United States to have any restrictions on their people who are here illegally. Talk about ridiculous! If you are interested, I have some of the articles/laws that Mexico enforces--would be glad to post them for people to read.

I am NATIVE! Look up the word moron. Now I know you mean American Indians, but use that term instead. Again, I am not an immigrant, I was born here. American Indians are of Asian descent, so they are no more indigenous to this land than my ancestors were.... Get off this lame, and VERY tired argument.

There is no such thing as a Native American. America was void of all human life until people migrated here from Asia. Animals and plant life are the only forms of life indigenous to America (U.S.).
