yes. first of all, they need sunscreen when they go outside, becasue they are hairless and the sun can do serious damage to them if they are out there for a long while, here is some more info on them.:
Owning
The Chinese Crested is a breed that generally does well with people with allergies. This information is based on breeds who possess a single layer of coat and therefore usually produce less dander than double-coated breeds. The American Kennel Club does not recommend or endorse any specific breed, nor does it claim that this breed will not affect people with allergies. It is important to use lotion to keep the hairless variety's skin from becomming dry. Suntan lotion should also be used to protect the skin when outdoors. Chinese Cresteds are happy and alert. They are loyal and affectionate dogs who make wonderful, playful, and entertaining companions.

Characteristics
A toy dog, fine-boned, elegant and graceful. The distinct varieties are born in the same litter. The Hairless with hair only on the head, tail and feet and the Powderpuff, completely covered with hair. The breed serves as a loving companion, playful and entertaining.

Did You Know
Entries of the breed at American dog shows began in the late 1800's. American Chinese Crested Club was founded in 1979. Gypsy Rose Lee acquired a Crested in the early 1950's; became an ardent breeder. They became eligible for AKC registration effective February 1, 1991

There are 2 kind of this dog.
Powder puff with hair AND
Crested with out much hair.

Here is cool site with information on both

I fostered a Chinese Crested and really like the breed. I have had powder puffs in my obediance classes and thought they were pretty quick to learn. Nice dogs but the hairless ones have special needs you must be aware of. Sun and winter climates.

Small, hyper, sensitive to the sun. Loyal to their owners, indifferent to strangers.

They get really ugly looking when they get old.
