I had a tetanus shot 3 years ago in the 6th grade and I scrathed my foot open on a nail outside, i put alchol and peroxide on the cut, could i still get tetanus??

tetanus shots are supposedly good for 10 years. depending how deep it is, probably want to get it checked out if you experience an infection in the near future.

tetanus shots are good for 5-10 years (cant remember which one). Because you had a shot 3 years ago you don't need another one. Just put an antibiotic on the cut and cover with a band-aid, at night when you go to bed take off the band-aid and wash it, keep the band-aid off when you sleep so it can get air to help it heal.

no, a tetanus shot is good for at least 10 years, don´t worry. Just make sure the wound does not get infected.

tentanus shots usually are good for 10 years...( I have been told in the past by my dr. )

but you may want a dr to check it out..just in case..never can be too safe in this day and age!

the reinforcement for the vaccine is every 5 years, but you have to check your vaccination schedulle to be sure
