While you can find somebody somewhere who believes anything you want to ask, the majority of Baptist and Methodist (and I have been both at some time) would say no.
As much as the "anit-religion" crowd would like you to believe that we are all sending each other to "heck", and fighting wars, and so splintered into thousands of religions that hate each other, it is not true.
Both the denominations mentioned have their origins, not in conflict, but in revival. The Baptist can trace their origin back to the Prostestant Reformation in the 1500s. It was a great revival of religion that woke up the church of that time, helped to get the Bible into the hands of the common man in a language that he could understand, and lead to the end of "holy wars" and "crusades" and the like that the instutional church of that time was sponsoring.
The Methodist come for the preaching of an English minister - John Wesley - (who migrated to America). He came at a time when the churches born out of the Reformation were become cold and institutionalized. He brought a fiery revival in the 1700's that would not only revived England - and it credited by most scholars as the reason England avoid a blood-bath like the French Revolution, but spread to America where it's teachings of freedom and worth were influencing in our becoming a free nation, and forming a church that was known for its good works and gifts of charity.
Like most Christian denominations, there are minor difference that separate the two churches. Both more of the division is based on personal preference. For instance, I attend a church that is very lively with loud "rock-beat" music, guitars, drums, keyboard, saxophone, etc. And I love it. (How many other 50+ year olds can say that!) My parents, however, still prefer their quiet, organ music, hymnal services. We have no issues with each others churches, we just have diffent taste. So we go to different buildings to worship the same God.
But the real issue - What is entrance to heaven based on? Not on what church you go to, or what name is on the door, but on whether you have had a life changing experience in which you receive the salvation and forgiveness that God has provided, which causes your spirit to reborn so that it can enter heaven. Anyone of any faith or church can have that experience. (And others can be part of a religion for 50 years and never receive it). It is that new birth that makes the difference, not the name on the door you walk through before worshiping God.

Certainly not. In fact, the Methodists are getting closer to decent theology and practice since this last general convocation or whatever. This Baptist (whose best friend is a Methodist) is really encouraged. It's the Presbyterians (where I grew up) that I'm worried about.

I don't know about Baptists, but Methodists don't believe anyone is going to a place called Hell. Methodists do believe that people can do things that will separate themselves from God, but I don't think it's permament.

Nope. Both are christian and follow the same path to salvation. Become born again by asking jesus into your heart and confessing with your mouth. In general, I have noticed that the two are just diffrent styles and it is what you prefer. Baptists tend to be more traditional and such. some find that boring and want to go to a non denomiational or inter... church. Those tend to have more contemporary music, etc.The only" Christian group that I have come across to watch out for are Jehovahs witnesses or JW. the believe Michael the archangel is Jesus and a few other mistakes in there doctorine....

I don't think Baptists are going to hell...and I'm Methodist.
As long as you have a relationship with Christ, it doesn't matter.

No. In Protestantism the defining point of Christianity is, "Do they accept Christ as the Son of God and that His sacrifice pays for all sins, and that He rose from the dead. Everything else is we tolerate of one another.
