You should ask someone who has been through a firestorm like out in California. I was there when Laguna Hills burned. 900 houses burned in a single day. How fast was the fire racing? Try about 70 miles an hour. Run like hell? You will never make it. I saw people die in their tracks as the fire leaped from street to street. Shocked residents were out spraying their homes with garden hoses... and got the surprise of their lives.

I would say this fast. If you were to started to run right now and you took off so fast that your shadow had a hard time catching up with you. About that fast.

I don't think it is a speed but a condition while running.

With your empty smile,
And your hungry heart,
Feel the bile rising,
From your guilty past.
With your nerves in tatters,
As the cockleshell shatters,
And the hammers batter,
Down your door,
You better run.
You better run all day,
And run all night.
And keep your dirty feelings deep inside.

"Run like Hell is after you!"

Pretty damned fast in my opinion

It's not a speed but an attitude, as if the fiery flames of hell are licking at your heels.

Since Hell doesn't exist, it's probably more like floating around. Anywayz, it sounds pretty lazy to me.

Spam is wrong.

It's 6.66 meters per second.

Everyone knows the devil uses metric.
