If you are truly 18, then I don't see why you don't just up and leave or set a date and let her know you will be moving on that date. Perhaps there is more to it, perhaps there isn't, but if you are acting as a mature 18 year old ready for life on your own, then I don't understand what the big deal is. You should have a job, a car and be saving money to eventually make it on your own anyhow, if not perhaps mommy dearest has a reason to be bitching!

Beg your pardon? How would anyone move out without someone that lives in the house not realizing it? You would think after ohhh 24 hours of hearing nothing of you in the kitchen, bathroom, etc that she'd be suspicious.
If you're getting married, you can certainly go live with the dude. That's like part of the deal, right? Probably doesn't matter a few months either way.
Of course, if there's something unsaid here... like that for as much as you don't like your mom, she supports you financially... and that will be cut off if you move out... that needs due consideration.

Get a job and save up at least as close to $1000 as you can so you can afford the security deposit and utilities.. just start looking in the classified section of your newspaper to get an idea of how much an apartment would cost. Try to find an "Efficiency Apartment" which is basically a one bedroom or single room apartment with a stove and fridge... they're cheaper. I know how hard this can be... oh if you are willing you can probably find a room for rent for even less.
Good Luck

I have done so with an abusive mate. ( I do not suggest the marriage part) But because you are 18 I really don't think you need to sneak out of the house. Make sure you have a place to go and a job to support yourself. And move out of that place into your own place.
With my abusive mate, I got all my papers (important papers) together in one draw ( I always kept everything of important in one draw so that all i had to do was dump it into a bag and go. Do the same with your clothes everything you need put it in one draw and don't touch it. (cell phone, combs, brushes, medication etc.) Arrange for you ride to come a certain time (after she leave for work) Wait until she goes to work or to sleep dump everything into a bag and GO!
I had a mother-in-law like that Never satisfied no manner what you did. You could do everything and she was still not satisfied. She would walk you all over the house fussing.

She can no longer control you since you are 18. Be a grown up and just tell her your move out date, key word is TELL, not ask. Don't say it mean or blame her. You won't have to live there anymore so why leave on a bad note. She may not take your news well but that well be her problem. Good luck on your new life.

attempt to be civil on your mom and spend time including her to tutor her that you're to blame and may be relied on. once you do bypass out call or textual content your mom and promises her updates. i understand you imagine that 15 is appropriately previous to be resposible for your self yet your mom remains to blame for you. on the different hand, if she is and not using a doubt unrational and also you've faith you could help your self petition the court for emacipation, yet you may ought to tutor that you've the potential to furnish for youself and feed and living house your self. if you're emancipated you mom has no criminal guardianship over you and also you're free to do as you please, yet this should be a very last hotel. instead of bein mad at your mom, take the time to be astounding to her, devour dinner including her a pair circumstances a week, bypass see a movie including her, spend time including her. somewhat attempt is going a lengthy way with mum and dad.

I agree with Katz. But your mom is going to realize that you've gone. Like Katz advised, don't marry to move out. It won't be good.

Your 18 and if you live in the USA you can just leave. She can't legally do anything about it. If she tries to physically stop you, call the cops.

If you can afford it then move out. You are of legal age to do so. I would not suggest getting married just so you can move out though.
