Not olives, so far, but Pippin is a total MacDonalds addict - fries wise, not the burger. I felt it was unhealthy so I gave up the fast food for years. No way could I eat it before she smelt it a mile off and came running; insisting on her share. But she still craves it - anything fried. Fried potatoes are her favourite. Seems to be the oil and salt that attract her. Olives have good oil in them, and are slightly salty ... much healthier than chips. Cats are like humans. Long ago I lived with one who shared my passion for frozen peas. My friend's cat was shameless and used to steal Mars bars from visitors pockets. And a cat called Buzzcock came home every morning with curry and beer on his breath! One cats meat is another cats poison, as they used to say in old Egypt!

Oh Yes!!!

Our three go nuts for them - tend to skit around the kitchen floor chasing them before they dry out a little and then they chomp them right down an' then come back to ask for more! (they're not too fussed about catnip though - weird?!)

My boyfriend's Siamese cat LOVES green olives! He'll bat one around the kitchen for an hour or so before he eats it... but olives also give him horrible gas, so he doesn't get them anymore, lol.

My cat (who is now passed :( would LOVE green olives. I would open the top of the jar and he would come running in from whereever he was and meow like crazy. I would have to rip it up and give it to him. He especially loved the pimento.

One of our cats was like that. He would chase an olive around the room and roll around on top of it. He seemed to like the scent.

Not tried olives yet, but Fergie & Lulu both love Marshmallows, Jelly Babies, Marmite on toast & Beef Satay.

I gave my dog an olive once. Don't know if she liked it but seemed determined to eat it, eventually managing the feat after about half an hour.

No, but a friend of mine had a cat who LOVED pickles. Interestinglyl enough, her OWNER's favorite food was pickles.

Just make sure you check ingredients and that there are NO TRACES of onion-anything (flavoring, powder, flakes, essence, oil, etc) in whatever you give to the kitty. It can be toxic to them.
