The murder of someone in a dream does not necessarily mean you hate someone so much, you would like to murder them. If that were the case we would all share that dream some time or other.

The murdering of someone in a dream usually means that there is a situation or event in your life that you are not happy with and wish to stop. It could be you dislike your job, or something trivial like the colour of your new wallpaper. It must be said that murder is an extreme example of dislike.

You do not say if the murder is of the same person, or even identifiable, if it is, it is more likely you do not like something they have done or are doing to you. They might be oppressing you in some way.

Whatever it may be you should try to express or rationalise your dislike, if it is a person, try talking to them.

best wishes

Dreams Of Killing Someone

In my opinion there is not necessarily a single answer to a type of dream. The first thing to consider when looking at a dream is to examine what was going on during the hour or so before you went to sleep. If you were watching CSI, or the like, I wouldn't give it much thought. Also look at the role of yourself and the victim in the dream - if you have dreams about killing your boss, it very likely is just an outlet for this fantasy.
That being said, I have found one of the best ways to analyze dreams is to see every character as a part of yourself (accepting the sexual dreams, for obvious reasons). When you analyze it this way you will see that your subconscious is communicating that you are killing a part of yourself. Then you should consider what you are doing that could be considered this way, such as passing up on an opportunity, repressing emotions, or giving up on a creative aspiration. If this rings true then you need to think long and hard about whether this sort of self-destruction is what you really want to be doing with your life at this point and act appropriately.

Every person in your dream is a personification of yourself. The killing is not something you will do in real life. It is a symbol. The meaning depends on what part of yourself or your life the person personifies. You might hate a certain aspect of your character and you want to get rid of it.

There might be a feeling of loss of power and control in your life which leads to your mind giving you images as a powerful person, taking control over someone else's life.

Don't listen to people who tell you you're a psychopath or need help, THEY have issues and don't know what they are saying. It is quite normal for the mind to get these instinctive images as a stress releasor.

It's important to remember that dreams are symbolic. The greatest problem in understanding our dreams is mistaken literalism. To read this stuff literally is to invite disaster. To read it symbolically is to invite tremendous individual and collective transformation.

Maybe you're upset or afraid about something , and trying to "kill" your insecurity. don't think about it too much, your dreams may not mean anything, don't upset yourself by reading inaccurate interpretations.

Means you maybe are angry.. perhaps you need to reflect... or it means you are watching too much late night tv. Try listening to Christian music before going to bed.

Depends. Are you DAYdreaming or dreaming while you're asleep? If you're daydreaming, it means you should get some help.
