Would you take a shower before going to get a physical? As a dentist, I appreciate it if someone at least tries to brush their teeth before a visit. If you just can't do it, it's probably not a big deal, but it's the polite thing to do.

I guess you can do whatever you want...if you think about the dentist is probably going to clean your teeth, so I would say don't brush. Although, if you like your dentist it is polite to brush before hand.

u should brush your teeth every day , 2 times a day, even when u go to the dentist

Yes, so they are clean, but also to get all of the food out of your teeth. If you have braces, all the more reason to brush.

Yes! You don't want to have bad breath, but the most important thing is to keep your teeth brushed anyhow!

I think it is more of a courtesy but it will save time since they won't have to clean your teeth before they clean your teeth.

Of course! I wouldn't want anyone poking around in my mouth if I didn't think it was clean.
