I'm a melanesian and I always thought male should ask, please help, I'm I TOO primitive?

that's not primitive, that's just generally human nature. It's nice in todays modern age that a girl can ask for a relationship if she's confident and open enough, and you will benefit greatly if you meet such a woman. But generally women still prefer that the man be the one who takes control. Good luck!

The way women are today they will have to start begging for long term relationships. Statistics are showing that women cheat a lot more than men so they can't be trusted. Why would any guy want to tie his self down and be made a fool of.

Either can ask. It doesnt matter but its more common for a guy to take the first step toward the relationship.

Either one. The idea that men should always ask is old fashioned. Besides, relationships should just happen. You don't have to ask for it.

its not important who shud ask...what matters most is the FEELING itself... theres nothing wrong with expressing what you feel... go! express it!so long as you know your limitations...not to the point of making yourself cheap...just merely letting him know(in a proper and decent way)... and thats it! just dont expect him to respond in the same way... be open to possibilities...if he says he feels the same way too then praise God! if not, at least youre being honest... youre brave enough to say it, otherwise youll live the rest of your life asking "what if?"...

follow your heart- it depends- it's usually good or tradition for the man to ask, but sometimes girls just gotta do it- it's really no big deal, just go with the moment- however if you flirt enough and throw enough signs out there he should be the one to ask

ur doing good girls like dat. i no girls like that they always say they like have a crush on a guy and they just cant ask them out b/c its just not right . i mean girls should b able to ask guys out but i mean they can but they dont have the self esteem. so yup keep on asking them girls out man ur doin good !! =)
