You will want to wait at least a couple of days before you wash your hair with new perm. Try to use a shampoo/conditioner for permed or color treated hair, it will be more moisturizing.

As for care, after washing, add a gel/sculpting formula for curly hair, then dry with a diffuser to keep nice curls without frizz. You can also try a glaze or glass type treatment that will help keep down frizz and increase shine. If you don't want to blow dry, you can add the after care products and let it air dry, but there will probably be less volume to the curl if you skip the diffuser blow dry.

If I remember right, the I used to get told 24 hours to not wash the hair. After that, it was normal care.
