There are a few theists that whine and complain that we shouldn't come in if we don't believe in god. Well, if we didn't come here, what would you talk about?
"I love god a whole heck of a lot, how about you????"
Then 20 people saying
"Yes, I love Jesus. He's great."
Just imagine that over and over again.
BORING.
If anything you should be thanking us for coming here and making you think about your religious beliefs. You can think of it either two ways - either we are challenging your beliefs and you might (just maybe) start to see things in a new way, or you might stick to your guns and feel reassured in your 'faith'. (As absurd as I find that idea.) Either way, you win. Would shutting us out make things better for you?

Actually I think of you as a SEEKER you are obviously LOOKING for answers that you cannot find. You try to challenge us and many times you find some Christian who still doesn't quite know how to answer you. You hold up thier ignorance and CLAIM Christianity is wrong but you convienently ignore those of us who give you REAL answers about the truth you are seeking. Christ is working in your hearts and I am glad you are here learning about love. I actually wish the others would embrace you with love and help you in your search for him. The Hounds of heaven are after you. Every Knee will bow one day even yours I hope and pray that you are a sheep and not a goat at that time.

"The Gospel never gets boring Ludd "
- she has obviously never been to church.
anyway, i never said christians shouldnt come in here. i think ignorant atheists are just as annoying as ignorant christians. i'm glad there is at least some tiny chance that smart atheists and smart christians can talk about things.
i'm an atheist, but i'm not intolerant of religion (pat on the back, right? but it's seriously a tough thing to find in a lot of people)
stay cooool

I agree with you there. There are two sides (actually many sides) to this topic. I'd like to think of it as debating. I believe a one-sided religious debate would be called a sermon.
Sermons should be given in other places. This forum is for anyone and everyone. We can all agree to disagree on alot of issues, but thankfully we live here and are allowed to voice our opinions.
I don't remember who said it but I like it...I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend your right to say it.

from what I've seen in this forum, thinking is a foreign concept to the believers.
of course, if they actually tried it - just even once - well, who knows, there might be an outbreak of reason and sanity. ok, sorry, that was just my imagination getting out of control for a moment.

I agree, it does make it interesting.....but why do many of the atheists create posts only to encite Christians? I keep seeing atheist posts saying how much they hate the believers "preaching at them". But if they didn't put up inflammatory posts, nobody would preach.

I've been on discussion boards before where everybody was Catholic. It wasn't boring.
Let's see... a discussion board consisting only of people who actually believe in something, or a discussion board consisting only of people who don't believe in anything.
Gee, I wonder which one would be more interesting.

Oh I definitely agree. I love that they enjoy being in religion and spirituality room. They try to deny it, but they are still searching or they wouldn't be in here. Either that or they are just trying to make people mad.
