Christianity is the largest relegion but Islam is on second and it is oncreasing more repidly.

An article in Reader’s Digest ‘Almanac’, year book 1986, gave the statistics of the increase of percentage of the major religions of the world in half a century from 1934 to 1984. This article also appeared in ‘The Plain Truth’ magazine. At the top was Islam, which increased by 235%, and Christianity had increased only by 47%.

Christanity is the largest religion in the world followed by Islam. But the number of PRACTICING MUSLIMS is more than Christians. Alham-du-lillah!
Islam is the FASTEST growing religion in the world. In a report, the number of fastest growing religions in the world were given for the year 1934-1984, No. 1 was Islam, 234%. No.2 was Christanity which was only 45%.

Should be Buddhism, Asia has the largest no. of buddhist per region. In China alone with a population of abt 1.3 billion, majority are buddhists, with the exception of Xinjiang which are predominantly muslim which makes up of 26 million. Taking out other religion, there could be at least 1 billion buddhist alone in China, excluding other parts of Asia like Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Japan etc.
