Landis took it today, joining winners Armstrong and Greg LeMond, along with non-winners George Hincapie and David Zabriskie.

Greg Lemond was the first. Then I think the next American was Lance Armstrong, quite a time gap. A year or two ago, Dave Zabriskie grabbed it for a couple days by winning the opening time trial. This year, Eric Hincappie won it for a day by catching 3rd place in that intermediate sprint to place him just over Thor Hushovd. And finally, I haven't watched yet, but I heard at work that Floyd Landis won it today. That's 5 all together.

Hey people pay attension there are only five Americans that have worn the yellow jersey, Greg Lemond, George Hincappie, Lance Armstong, David Zabriskie, and Floyd Landis today. Thor Hushovd is not an American.

Lemond, Armstrong, Hincapie, Zabriski (spelling?) and Landis of course. There's also an outside chance that Andrew Hampsten, and Tyler Hamilton have worn the Jersey, but I'm going to guess that they haven't.
