I just bought an electric smoker. I would like to get the prime rib as tender as possible. Thank you

get good wood chips... always have good wood chips! Rub your prime rib with onion soup mix and let it smoke for a good 12 hours. It'll be perfect!

Tender ness unfortunately has a whole lot to do with the cut more than anything else. I would cook it at 220 for about two hours or two and a half hours. You should be OK if you like it rare like me

P:S: I Just realized you are using a smoker and not an oven. I never used one, so please ignore my comment
