There is no low calorie drink. Not if you want to get a buzz on. Alcohol is sugar and sugar is calories, so if you want any kind of drunk feeling, you have to ingest some calories.

If you just want to have a drink because you're out socially, then you can drink the supposed low carb options, but they are just BS, the companies label them low carb but there is no way to take the carbs out of alcohol. Limiting your alcohol intake is the only way to stick with a diet.

The best thing to do is cut out the calories in what you mix your alcohol with. Make it diet soda or club soda instead of regular soda or juice.

My suggestion--just have fun and booze it up while you're out. Worry about the weight when you're at the gym.

Most mixed drinks are going to be higher in calories. They have juices and other mixers that are higher in calories. Though mixed drinks like rum and diet, are not so bad. Or try cosmos... they don't have quite so much mixer in them! :-)
