Hello, this is a legitimate inquiry with those who are involved in Scientology.

Is Scientology, for you, a religious belief (including the doctrine of Xenu's destruction of countless beings, creating chatoic souls on the planet that take the form of engrams).

Or is Scientology more of a lifestyle practice for you (things such as proper nutrition, silent childhood practices, abstinence from certain pharmaceuticals)?

I am very interested and very curious. Please no mockey or commentary on whether or not Scientology is legitimate.

I've been on both sides of the fence. I studied all of Hubbard's books and applied some of his insights in my own life, with great benefit. However, the Church was taken over in 1986 by a group of religious fanatics who are two-faced. You can get more info on the website www.clambake.org

Then make up your own mind about it.

Neither. It's a tax-free corporation. I know you wanted no mockery, but truly it's not mockery. It's a system of belief and practices that was created as a religion so that no taxes were due on donations, etc. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientology

It is a money making cult for the benifit of those who run it.... it was founded by L Ron Hubbard because he got mad at the IRS about the churches getting tax exemtions and he did'nt...so he started his own "religion"... not it milks the holywood crowd for all it can get out of them

It is llegitimate because it is legal... I am not mocking them I am stating the truth. It is public record.

both. A religion is a lifestyle in its own.
They have churches all over the place, like the Church of Scientology in Manhattan.

I'd say it was a bit of both.........and went to their website to check a few things. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad mistake. Was on the site 30 mins reading stuff and was spammed by them for years after.......you show the slightest interest in what they do and they just won't leave you alone.
