i was watching the news today and it said something about these conscientour objectors. im all for the first amendment and freedom of religion but lately its seemed that religion is above the law. i was wondering which religion doesnt allow its members to go to war? and how the government would know if they are really from that religion and not just saying that so they dont have to go to war. any thoughts?

The Society of Friends (Quakers) are pacifists, and don't believe in war. Most religions have rules against killing people, violence, and torture in their doctrines somewhere. Nixon called himself a Quaker and he was a criminal.

You don't have to have religion to consciensciously object. All that means is that you don't believe in the cause, so therefore you won't fight.
