I'm curious, whenever I read fiction books by Christian authors that reference the antichrist (mostly the Left Behind series, but there are others), he is always coming out of Europe. It doesn't so much say the country specifically, and I don't believe the Bible gives any real reference to which specific country he'll come from, but somewhere along the lines these authors are getting the idea that he'll be of European descent. Can someone explain why, I would like the scripture(s) they are using to arrive at the conclusion that he'll be European.

I will re-repost here my answer to two similar questions today, posed before yours. Daniel 9:26 explains he will be an Italian gentile. The Antichrist will not be Belgian and he will NOT be a Jew. Those who use Daniel 11:37 to support this forget that the Jews aren't the only ones with forefathers who held religious beliefs! Dan. 11:37 merely states the Antichrist will disregard these beliefs. One must consider the prophecy as a WHOLE.
Daniel 9 contains the well-known "70 weeks" prophecy. Verse 26 reads:
26 “ And after the sixty-two weeks
Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself;
And the people of the prince who is to come
Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.
The end of it shall be with a flood,
And till the end of the war desolations are determined.
Undisputably, the reference within line 4 is to the destruction of Jerusalem and the second Temple in AD 70 (note that this is after line 2 is fulfilled), at which time the second dispursion of the Jews occured. History records that the people who destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple were the Romans -- i.e. the Italians.
Therefore, we can rest assured that the Antichrist -- the prince referenced in line 3 -- will be an Italian. For those of you who are not convinced the Antichrist is the referenced prince, read the entirety of Daniel carefully. The Antichrist is repeatedly referred to as the "little horn," and the "prince."

Well I think Hitler was the closest person who could be called the Antichrist, so I'd say Austria! But I think the Antichrist will probably come from a country where we least expect him to come from, like somewhere in Africa or South America. Definitely from a catholic country cuz I think he'll become Pope and hence hold immense power.

If you want accurate information, it's important to read the Bible. There isn't just one anti-Christ.
1 John 2:18 - Young children, it is the last hour, and, just as you have heard that antichrist is coming, even now THERE HAVE COME TO BE MANY ANTICHRISTS; from which fact we gain the knowledge that it is the last hour
2 John 7 - For many deceivers have gone forth into the world, persons not confessing Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.

I think if you are going to look for someone to demonize you should look in the mirror first. you are truly your own worst enemy. also if the Antichrist didn't come from Europe you'd be looking everywhere but where ever they are at. Personally i think the antichrist are the people that are christian on the sole basis that Jesus never wanted oragnized religion and he was killed and mocked by people that made a church and called it christianity.

David's interpretation of king Nebuchadnezzar's dream, in Daniel chapter 2, describes a giant that could resemble, metaphorically, the European Union.

You got a very good point there. Napolean is considered the first anti-christ and he's from France. Hitler is obviously the second and he's from Germany. Look it up on an atlas and see if you can figure out where the next one is going to originate from. There's bound to be a geographical pattern there.
