What do yall think about promise rings and what do they mean 2 u?

Promise rings are a sign of commitment, not necessarily meaning you are engage, but that it's a promise to stay faithful, and be there for that person. I think if you truly love that person, and want to take your relationship further and much more serious, a promise ring is suitable. My husband gave me my promise ring after dating for 3 months, it gives you a sense of security in the relationship.

Promise rings are just for romantics, because i believe that the promise don't need to be represented by any object and giving a promise ring doesn't ensure a long lasting relationship. from my personal experience a promise doesn't need to take a physical form it only needs somone to make it come true. that's why people say "i give you my word" because that should be enough for a promise.

Promise rings can mean something different to any person, they really don't hyold a lot of weight, if you need a ring on your hand to consider it an exclusive relationshiip you have worse problems than your signifcant other wandering

When i think of promise rings i think that when you get it, it means you will be promised the question of marrige by your boyfriend. Just not at the moment will he ask you but a little later you will get the question.

a promise ring to me is the first step to a very personal relationship with your boyfriend and it is a very special way to say they think you are special. that way you both can see if you are right for each other before he does ask you for marriage in the future.
