You are really lucky! Mine always flips out instead of straight or curving under. Try this: It sounds like you have really straight hair, and I'm assuming it isn't all that thick. I would suggest straightening it, the getting a curling iron, and doing kind of a half-curl, then hairspray it while still on the iron, hold for a few seconds, release, and brush. It should flip out if you used the curling iron correctly. You could also try gel or something. Good luck!

Try to get a shampoo with more volume...this will amp up your hair even more than usual.... (It does not really matter if your hair is thin or thick) before you straiten your hair, try just blow-drying it. Then curl the ends with a curling iron or if nothing else, the straitener...But if you really want to straiten your hair wit the straitener, then do so, but after you flip the ends out bend over and flip your hair around upside down. Then flip it back up and put a little hair spray in it.....judging by your picture, you are Mexican (no offence, I’m half) and usually when I see Mexican girls there hair is normally strait or slightly curled...So judging by your picture I think you would be very pretty with your hair flipped out with LOTS of BODY BODY!!! (YOU WOULD SURLY TURN HEADS!) Good luck!

Use a large curling iron (judging by the length of your hair). Flip the iron upside down (with the flat end on the bottom) and curl it in the upward motion. If you are trying to do the "farrah" flip, you should curl it upward and away from your face (kind of like a spiral).
Spray it with holding spray

I have my beautician cut my hair with a razor so it flips easier. She also gives me some layers. I use a bit of hairspray and a curling iron or flat iron to flip it out. I never have a problem with it not staying. I always spray with hairspray when I'm finished styling too.
good luck!

My hairdresser uses a round brush when blowing out my hair and then when she comes to the end she'll curl the brush under and leave the brush in my hair for a minute or so and then takes it out...but try doing that but w/ one of those bed head products that will hold the style...good luck

Use hairspray, prefer an aoerosal, spray from underneath flip. Spraying on top only weights it down.

Try drying it with a round brush and put hairspray on the bottom as you roll up the hair in the brush and dry with a hair dryer.
