Don't micromanage for her. Let her make her own decisions about food and clothes; your job is to support her in her decisions, and offer alternative suggestions if you think she is wrong. But it's her life, her body, she needs to be in control.

Go to doctor appointments with her and ask your questions about the pregnancy. Be supportive. She should stay with you. You are already showing signs of being a good Dad by asking questions. Asking to many people can get you confused, though.
Congrats to the both of you.

she can eat whatever except try to avoid fish because of high heavy metal content... she can determine her own clothing... yes she can put on weight safely... she can do normal day to day stuff at the beginning of her pregnancy but I would not advise moving furniture or anything really strenuous. She should stay with you...

you can let her have her moods without arguing with her. she needs foods with all her vitamins but a craving is your body telling you it needs something she will let you know. her clothing should be lose and comfortable so she wont feel stuffed or fat but colors that make her look beautiful. of course she can put on weight safely. of course getting it off may become part of your responsibility. nostraining! you would be chickening out if she stayed with her parents. they didnt get her pregnant. your responsibility baby!

Just be there for her and be supportive. Asking this question shows your concern for your wife and your baby. It sounds to me like you are already a good husband and good dad.
