Why don't girls have any respect for people in wheelchairs, meaning, why won't they go out with them?

this is a really sensitive question and no offense to any who will be affected.i believe its just discrimination, they're focused on the physical rather than the emotional. they want to be taken care of rather than the one taking care of someone. If women looked for emotional satisfaction rather than the physical then that would level the playing field for all of us.

Teens can be really mean at times without meaning too. But girls want a guy that can take them dancing, walk with them in the sand on Beaches, Go strolling hand in hand in the park. They aren't trying to be mean or to ignore you, unless you press them, but are trying to fulfill dreams. A wheelchair represents someone to take care of, someone that needs to lean on another. Girls are trying to find that special person they can lean on. But let me tell you girls..that some of your dreams may indeed be in the person in the wheelchair. I have a friend that is crippled with MS, he works as a manager for an insurance company in the Atlanta area. He brings home over 150 grand a year, he has 2 beautiful daughters, a lovely wife. They were married straight out of High school. She drives him to work each day and picks him up. While its true she does most of the work, he returns whatever she does with a love not many others have found. So if you're ignoring the guy in the wheelchair because he's bound to that chair. Then maybe you should look deep in side to see exactly what you are looking for. That guy may actually be what you're needing...give it a shot, see what he has to offer. He may be the person your dreams are made of

Thats doesnt mean she doesnt respect you.The wheelchair proabably just freaks the girls out a little bit it makes them more nevous.I respect people in wheelchairs. I just have never talked to anyone in a wheelchair before.Why dont u find a girl in a wheelchair to ask out? If that doesnt work than just wait until the right girl comes along and she wont care if ur in a wheelchair and she'll love you no matter what.I hope i helped! Good Luck with everything!

I've gone out with guys in wheel chairs. Unfortunately, you're right, there are some girls who wont go out with a guy in a wheel chair, just as there are some guys who won't go out with a girl in a wheel chair. well in my case thats not so true i would totally date someone in a wheelchair as long as he had a good personality and thats the same with every guy i look at i think thats all that really matters.

that doesn't mean that they don't respect them...it doesn't mean they don't like them...they could be scared to try that kinda thing.It would be something to get used to.It would be different.Even though the person in the chair..yes is still completely a person..It makes it harder to see yourself with that person..
But there will be women who can live with it.there will be a woman that loves that person..
But some woman just aren't strong enough to do it

Some girls may not but there are a few out there that don't have any problems with wheel chairs. Hang in there you will find the one. Have confidence in your self. She will show her self to you when you least expect it.
