never breastfed and my kids are very healthy?

I am a mother of an 8 year old daughter and a 5 month old son who are extremely healthy, hardly sick!!!! I never breastfed as to me, it does not look right..it's not natural!!! my boobs are my boobs and not for kids to suck on..every one who i have seen who breastfeds has saggy boobs..they are big until your milk stops and then you are left with some nasty boobs... i get complimented on my boobs all the time when people see i have 2 kids. they are not droppy and very high up, where they are suppose to be. My friends kids are constantly sick and she breastfed all 3 so it's bullcrap when they say that it helps them not get sick. I, also hate it when i see an over 1 year old being breastfed ,that is just digusting and i have gone up to the mothers when i have seen that. and the husbands who watch would rather be on the boob, trust me...my husband has told me that and plenty others have told me as well. Does anybody else agree with me on th this?

I am not immature and do not put down mom's who breastfed. I do to the ones who breastfed past 1 years old!!!

I have a right to tell how i feel and everybody has a right to tell me how they feel on this subject, just do it nicely, you do not have to be rude

and I did not say, the breast is for guys, its for me and me only...i was just stating that when a guy sees a baby on the boob, they would rather be on it than a baby

You are SO asking for it by asking this question, so here it is. The statement that breastfeeding is not natural is a bunch of crap. How the heck do you suppose our ancestors lived, being there were no such thing as bottles or cows to milk. Humans are the ONLY mammal that drinks another mammal's milk. If you would rather feed your kids crap that came from some dirty cow's udder that's a darn shame!

Who really cares what your boobs look like? Nobody! That has more to do with genetics and pregnancy than breastfeeding so get your facts straight! I'm going to nurse my 11 month old as long as she wants to so I DARE you to come up to me and tell me it's wrong. The only thing perverted about breastfeeding are the people that THINK it's perverted.

There is much more to being sick than whether or not you breastfeed. If you're exposed to a new cold virus, chances are you're going to get it! Breastfed babies who are exposed to a virus give it to their mother at one nursing, and by the next nursing there are already antibodies in the milk to help the baby fight the infection. Breastfed babies develop MUCH better than formula fed babies whether or not they get more or less "colds". The way their brains, skin, GI tracts, muscles and bones develop is very different from artificially fed infants. Their jaws, mouths and teeth also develop properly because of the difference in sucking mechanisms.

It's really sad that there are still people like you in this country even though all the research PROVES that breastfeeding is a better choice. I'm not saying formula feeding moms are bad moms, just people like you who chose to put-down moms who aren't doing the same thing she is by saying we're disgusting and our boobs should be in our husbands' mouths....YOU'RE disgusting for even comparing the two. Fact: Unicef and the WHO (World Health Orginization) reccomend breastfeeding for at LEAST two years!!!! Fact: the WORLD-WIDE average (including all the people like you with "perky" boobs) of breastfeeding is 4.2 years--yes there ARE people who nurse until 7-8 years-deal with it! Fact: 1.5 million babies die every year because they are not breastfed.

So if you want to go flaming around about how disgusting and gross breastfeeding is, I suggest you do a little homework first so you don't look like such a big idiot in the future.

In my opinion you are wrong, because I've breastfed both my kids and still have perky C cups. My kids are never sick- my son breastfed until he was 5 months old and my daughter is 9 months old and still gets occasional feedings. Boobs were made to feed babies. That is their purpose, no matter what- they were meant to fill with milk so babies can eat. Long ago women breastfed their children until they were 2-3 years old. There is nothing wrong with a year old baby breastfeeding occasionally, though most of their food should be from the table. Why do you put it down when you've never done it?

I don't agree that it is disgusting or unnatural but I agree it is a PERSONAL choice. I breastfed all 3 of mine. And yes my boobs are NOT the same as they were before but to me it was worth it. I have a cousin who just said "That's gross and i'm not doing it" (breastfeeding) and I said good for you, you do what you think is right for you and your baby. And she is a very good mom who's kids are rarely sick. I had another cousin and sister-in-law who really didn't want to bf and got pressured into it (not by me I always say do what you feels comfortable to you) and they had terrible experiences. It made them feel totally inadquate! Which is not what you need as a first time mother. I do think if you are going to bf your baby at over a year you might want to make that a little more private. It doesn't bother me in the least to see a mother feed a newborn in public but I think at 1 it maybe a little "odd", although i have never actually seen this. Good for you though for doing what feels right to you as a mother!

If you say you have not breastfed u r babies I pity them for u r selfishness. They may look healthy now but when a health problem arises they may not possess a good immune system.

Its good to hear that u r boobs are in place. I believe thats where every other lady has it as well. And someday or the other u r so called stiff boob will also sag, no matter whether u breastfed u r childrens or not.

You can't believe u r hubby is watching u r boobs alone. May be you are not aware where else he looks at.

Breastfeeding is a personal choice and one you seem to have made your choice already. Every person is different. But it is natural, very natural. Ages ago, it was the only way possible to feed a baby.

I breastfed all three of my children and none of them were or are sickly. They are very healthy girls. Also, I started out as an "A" cup before children and now (after three) I am a "C" cup. I was lucky enough to retain the size I achieved during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Also, at 39 years of age, my breast are more perky than most 29 year olds I know.

As I said, everybody is different. It is a personal choice that each mother must make for herself. But, just like I wouldn't go up to a woman bottle feeding her child and tell her she is wrong, you have no right to go up to a breastfeeding woman and tell her that she is wrong. Live and let live. If you don't like it, look away.

Well I totally agree with you and YES it does sag your boobs and It is not always the best way to feed your baby in fact some women have poisoned their babies with their breast milk. Formula now a days is packed with everything that your baby needs even things some women lack in their own milk. I am a mother of two both formula fed one still feeding the other for 1 year and they are very healthy my daughter sat, walked, and spoke very early and at 3 ½ she is very advanced for her age. I’m not saying breast feeding is bad but I feel that formula is just a good and sometimes better than breast milk.

Did you know that that besides being good for your children, breastfeeding is good for the mom's health as well? It not only helps your uterus shrink after pregnancy and help you lose pregnancy pounds it also cuts your risk of breast cancer. It really isnt worth it if your perky boobs that have never fulfilled their life's purpose have to be removed because you got breast cancer.

Also besides immunity, studies have shown that there is a direct correlation between breastfeeding and high IQs in children. Its a shame really that your children werent breastfed because obviously a high IQ isnt in their genes ... considering their mom thinks that breastfeeding isnt natural! Have you seen how other mammals feed their babies? what would you have done if you had been born before formula was invented? let your kids starve and die? I guess thats how evolution removes dumb genes from the pool.

I think you have touched a sore spot with alot of Mom's....I had 3 kids and never breastfed because back 38 years ago when mine were starting to be born the Dr's never gave us a choice, they just told you what kind of formula you were going to give your baby, we never got to learn about breastfeeding....My Daughter breastfeeds her 11 month old little girl, and i'm very proud of her.....I wish i would have known more about this when they were born, I think it is beautiful and i'm sure God thinks so too.....If you have nice boobs, thats great, by the looks of your picture, your not all that to be judgeing other Mothers....Shame on you!

Formula fed babies can be very healthy as well, but this does not mean that breastfeeding is not best. And to say its not natural is just plain stupid. There is nothing more natural. Do you think Eve broke out the simalac when her babies were born? Don't be stupid. Just because breastfeeding is not for you doesn't mean that its not the best way for babies to eat. And lots of women who breastfeed have very nice breasts, mine are not saggy or nasty at all. You are just being mean spirited and cruel. How you feed your baby is your choice, to put down other women for doing something different from you is just mean.

Breastfeeding is the way people fed their babies before formula was invented. The reason they say it keeps your kids healthy is because you pass on your immunities to your babies. Your friend probably hasn't been sick to often to have as many immunities, therfore her kids are always sick. Yeah there's a chance that the mother's boobs will sag but that's what push up bra's and booblifts are for. You're right, after a certain age it's going to far. But that's natures way of feeding your infant. If it weren't, they wouldn't engorge in milk. Be more open minded. You're entitled to your opinion, but let others be entitled to theirs too!
