LOL!
Did someone REALLY write something that stupid?
I'm weeping right next to you, but my tears are those of laughter and mocking...

Being christened or baptized at the bequest of someone else is not a conscientious decision on your part. That ceremony does not diminish your capacity to choose whom you will believe/submit to. Being baptized or christened as you were no more makes you a Christian than driving a car makes you a V-8 engine or owning a pool makes you an Olympic swimmer.

Don't feel too bad, dude. I was baptized without my authorization as a baby, too. Hell, I was "confirmed" when I was 13 against my will, but I still consider myself an atheist because I used my mind to think logically about the world.

Did you cry? Old wive's tale is that if the baby doesn't cry when the Holy Water is sprinkled on it, the Devil isn't driven out... Some would even put pins in the baby's diaper or pinch them to make sure they cried. So, if you didn't cry, you may still be in luck!

Infant baptism is an abomination in the sight of the Lord. Repentence is necessary for the remission of sins.

If you read the book of Romans the first chapter you will say what makes a so called atheist...one who says they don't believe in God ..but started out hearing of Him ...just never choosing him...so God begins to turn them to a reprobate mind...God bless ...and have mercy on you

don't worry - you can become an atheist by using your brain to think rationally about the world for more than two consecutive seconds - that automatically disqualifies you from any religion

The Bible does not say to baptize children.
The Bible talks of repentence before baptism, and a kid can't do that.
