Has anyone here seen this film and what is your opinion of it? Did you find it funny or were you offended by it?

I'm not religious myself. I enjoyed it, just wondering if anyone was offended.

It is a classic: The Monty Python team moulded their own form of comedy, & changed the way comedy was protrayed on television. The Life Of Brian & The Holy Grail were both brilliant!

I've seen it--and I have the DVD.
I actually was not that impressed when I first saw it, but later viewings I thought it was hillarious. Monty Python is a bit of an aquired taste, I guess :)
I was actually a bit offended at the crucifiction scene at the end first time I saw it, but I guess that is just a sign of my Christian upbringing. I've gotten over that now.

Very funny - a satirical take on a zillion things from political extremism to boarding school, with the suitably zany Python humour, an absolute must

I love this movie! Except for the alien part, and I also felt a little offended when they kept saying G-d's name (you know, the part when the guy is going to be stoned for saying that name) but I can live with it.

bloody fantastic - one of the best - no way was I offended.
My father nicked my video version so unfortunately I had to go and buy the dvd version. Life sucks, then I cheered myself up by watching it again.
As the film says ' always look on the bright side of life'

I Think you mean the Life of BWIAN
I saw it many times and I love it. One of my favourites actually.It represents the comedy in how people of the same faith have such disagreements over it. ( the Judean People's front, the People's front of Judea). I like that it takes the p*ss out of the gnostics a fair bit too. They're much too serious about themselves.

funny great film i like the part were he falls out of the tower land in a space the best is when thay are on the crosses and thay sing you all have to look on the bright side of life then thay whistle it great

I'm a huge Monty Phython fan, I like all of them. I can see where you would take offense, but I'm a believer as well. You just have to look at the way they make fun of the stero typical way people think. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it. I would suggest you not watch any of his others then.

I saw it, and I found it quite funny.
Whether you're offended or not probably depends partly on your religion (I'm Jewish), and partly on your sense of humor.
You have to take it in the spirit of fun -- otherwise, you WILL be really annoyed.
Just try to always look on the bright side of satires.
