The ATSC standards specify two resolutions for HD television:

1250x720 and 1920x1080

1250x720 is progressive scan (720p)
1920x1080 can be either interlaced or progressive (although at present there are no 1080p broadcasts)

In addition, several frame rates are authorized: 24fps, 30fps, 60fps

All of these are high definition.
