As an atheist, I would be highly skeptical of anyone claiming to be God. However, if said person demonstrated all those feats (walking on water, raising the dead, etc.) to me or the scientific community, and repeatedly broke the laws of nature (not just an illusion trick), I would rescind my atheism fairly easily. At that point the extraordinary claim would have extraordinary proof, and be justifiable.
However, I would also have a LOT of questions for this person.

Get ID. (Boy, you don't make that mistake a second time! Now I've got an altar to the pizza boy in the backyard. The pizza was good though.)
Other than that, see if he walks around smiting people. Does he send thunderbolts at people for minor infractions? Does he punish the children for the sins of the parents? Does he punish every one for a minor sin committed 5000 years ago? Does he expect that sacrificing his son will somehow erase this taint? Is he completely selfabsorbed and needy enough to demand complete adoration and threaten you with eternal damnation if you are too busy "being a good person" to worry about his low-self-esteem needs? Does he pretend to be all loving but secretely hates women and everyone who doesn't agree with him?
If so, then you've found the judeo-christian god. Just keep him away from me; I've got some issues with him.

Nothing or nobody will ever get to see God with your own very eyes..only the Most Holy person in the Gods eyes will have the chance to see HIm..even though you're in Heaven, not every body in the Heaven can see Him too..only the chosen one..
and God will never comes down to earth and appear as humans or others,b/c even if He does it, the world will go shaking and the even the great mountains will fall apart...cause He is The Almighty, so Powerful, nothing in the Universe can be able to rise upon Him.

There ARE many false prophets, and in the end times, there will be an Anti-Christ who will rise from the east and trick the multitudes.
Those familiar with Revelations know the signs - and those of us who believe the "pre-trib" theory, know we will see His face one of two times. After we have died, and entered into the Kingdom of Heaven, or when we are swept up into Heaven before the years and turmoil of the final Tribulation.
Christ has come all those years ago, died on the cross for our sins, arose on the third day and ascended into Heaven. The next time He will appear on earth in HUMAN form - it will be the end times.

God is coming in judgment and everyone will see him. If a solitary person appears in one locality I would consider him a false prophet. The Bible warns that there would be many like this in the last days

What if God was one of us?....who else would have such power to do these things, to read a person's eyes, because they are the window to the soul, to see his grace, and hear his wisdom, but out of all this i would ask the person to tell me who i am, and also my name, and if they got this right then maybe I'll start believing them (maybe).

If there were prophesies that someone like that would come at this point in time and do the things that he did and fulfill all of the prophesies made by multiple people, I would believe. Would you?
This is what happened with Jesus in his time.

You would know by the written word since that Jesus said that in the end many would come and say lo there is christ or lo here is christ Jesus said believe them not...He has warned you therefore if you believe them ...it is your own choice that led you away..from God...YOU HAVE THE WRITTEN WORD....it is important to have it in your heart...David said in Psalms 119...hide thine word in my heart that I might not sin against you
God ..will not contradict his own word ...therefore you can trust what it says about such things...God bless

I STILL wouldn't believe it. I would decide becuse to me G od doesn not have a human form and is not in need to proove himself by doing "miracles". G od does not need to convinve, the real G od would just say that he is "I am" and everyone's ears would jump.

Isnt that exactly what Jesus did? Read the OT and modelled his life to mirror it exactly, so that he would be viewed as the Messiah. Really great con artist and magician...
