Why are there so many dumb people who don't know history think World War 3 is coming? Sure there are regional conflicts but they aren't going to go anywhere. Iran can only fight in Iraq or Afganistan where the Americans are. North Korea can only go south into South Korea where the South Korean's have a modern military and with American help can crush the North who wouldn't have an million chinese troops helping. Israeli actions are just localized against terrorists, the Arab countries know better than to fight Israel after the 6 day war in 1967 and the one in 1973.
So people are worried about regional conflicts that will go no where.

How can there be war with China? Half the stuff sold in Walmart is made in China. There is no reason for a war with China. What would it be fought over?

Regional conflicts can easily spread or create alliances with countries with different agendas. I'm not paranoid I just think its silly to ignore the events of the world. That's how 911 happens. I don't think World War III is near though.

after the "Great War" (aka: WWI) no one could imagine another global conflict, then came WWII. WW3 is well within the realm of possibilities. Einstein declared that he didn't know how we would fight WW3 but he did knew how we would fight WW4, with sticks and stones. now there was a man who knew how to read history.
