it depends how how mature and trust Worthy you think she is. only you know your daughter. be sure not to let her go alone because if there is alcohol involved then i would be worried that some guy will hurt her or take advantage of her.

When I was about 13-14 my parents would let me camp out in the back garden of my home. There were a few of us girls and guys but we had grown up together so it was fine. I was trusted enough for them to allow this but they did check up on us during the evening. I'm now 34 and a mum myself and I would never allow my daughters to camp out in the garden purely becuase of safety issues. The world is not as safe as it used to be in my day! I would never forgive myself if anything happened to them. I would maybe allow them to go camping with guys (without adult supervision) when they were about 18 and only if I knew who they were going with and their families.

lol

A) When she can beat them up and they know it if they get too cheeky... its your job to train her to fight and make her fiesty.

B) When she is fully clued up about sex, on the pill/dep injection and has condoms.

C) When all of them are old enough to handle themselves and have the sense to stick together if they get into trouble...

Now this is not a problem at a festival or camp site. May be a problem in the woods in America with bears around or 'psychos with hocky masks'

Thats the honest answer.

Look your kid will grow up, turn into a teenager, then a mid to late teenager when most will have boyfriends and loose their virginity and do all the things normal late teenagers do just like you and hubbie/wifey did in the back seat of a car, getting boobs felt up in the cinema when the boyfriend stretches his arm around her, at your festivals, and at parties, probably play spin the bottle etc etc.

Maybe loose it camping maybe not...

Ideally in late teens not early teens.

As human just like you and all those you knew were and just like her kids and grand, and great grand kids will be.

You can't stop it...

WEither happens camping or at a party, in your house, in school or whatever, in a college fart or seroirty party (may start late)

She will still need you at as a parent and this is best when still living at home with your support. Especailly when first dumped and it all goes pair shaped. Or hell you could get lucky and its with a soulmate and they live happily ever after.

Joey tells the truth even when it gets him into trouble and nasty demented folk have a go... But think... what have I said thats wrong above...

even with all the detail or not what you want to hear.

John and many others are smart listen to them...

And Mr/Ms L see above they are all saying the same thing so you going to rip into them too?

are you kidding?

if supervised? yes/no?

If she is between 8 & 12, Did you not play doctors and nurses?

If she is between 12 & 15, Did you not want to experiment.?

If she is between 15 to 18, they will experiment.?

if she is over 18, then you have to let go and trust her.

If she is going with girlfriends & boys?

You have to trust that her friends will look after her.

I think you should let her go, because you are thinking about the question.
If you could not trust her? You would not of even ask the question.

Let her go. Tell her your concerns. She will hate you if you dont?

Sorry mate, but being a father is not easy

18 i suppose then she can do what she likes, as long as it's not just her and guys [ i'm sure that's not what you meant ] it's a difficult one to answer you could have done with saying her age then you would have got alot of opinions, but at the end of the day it's going to be you that decides, as only you know how grown up your daughter is, think long and hard it's a tough one good luck.
